How to pay NAV

Your Endex report shows how much to pay and the deadlines. This page shows where and how to send the money.

Before you start

  • Pay in Hungarian forint (HUF), including from abroad.
  • Send SZJA and szocho as two separate transfers to two different accounts.
  • The reference field (közlemény) must always contain your 10-digit Hungarian tax identification number (adóazonosító jel).
Can you log in to Hungarian government services with the DÁP app or Ügyfélkapu+?
Yes

Pay by card online

Private individuals can settle nearly all NAV obligations by bank card, online or in person at a NAV office. These steps cover online payment.

  1. Log in at ugyfelportal.nav.gov.hu (or eszja.nav.gov.hu) with the DÁP mobile app or Ügyfélkapu+.
  2. Open the tax payment page.
  3. Choose the tax type by its adónem kód: 103 for personal income tax (SZJA), or 258 for social contribution tax (szocho). Enter the amount from your report for that tax.
  4. Pay by card.
  5. Go back and repeat the same steps for the other tax type. SZJA and szocho are two separate card payments, one per tax type.

The old Ügyfélkapu username-and-password login was discontinued on 16 January 2025 and no longer works.

  • Accepted cards: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Mastercard Electronic and Maestro. American Express is not accepted.
  • There is no fee for you: the state bears the card-payment cost.
  • Only the natural person named on the card may pay with it.

Fines, late-payment and self-revision related payments only: 10032000-01076301 · adónem 215 · Bírság, mulasztási bírság és önellenőrzéssel kapcsolatos befizetések · IBAN HU49100320000107630100000000.
